SCHOLARSHIP POLICIES (Faculty Research Dissemination Grant)

The ERDT FRDG administers “One Paper-One Support” policy. It is only the presenting author in case of paper presentation and main/coauthor in case of journal publication who shall be supported by the ERDT FRDG.

In the case that an ERDT adviser and his/her ERDT Local Graduate Scholar requested for funding for presenting the same paper in the same conference, the priority shall be given to the ERDT Local Graduate Scholar who can avail his/her Research Dissemination Grant.

In case the grantee is not able to attend and participate in the conference, the grantee shall return all funds disbursed for the faculty research dissemination grant.

Responsibilities of the Grantee

The following are the duties and responsibilities of an ERDT FRDG grantee:

1. Before leaving, the grantee must file and secure Authority to Travel when applicable and secure a temporary clearance from DOST-SEI though ERDT office if he/she has a pending ERDT contractual obligation; 2. After the conference, the grantee shall return immediately to the Philippines; 3. Upon return to the Philippines, the grantee shall submit liquidation reports to the ERDT within fifteen (15) days; and 4. In case that the grantee was not able to attend and participate in the conference, the grantee shall refund the entire grant.
